Gynaecology, Paediatrics & Skin
First-line care across three specialist areas — assessment, treatment, and referral when needed.
Service Description
Not every concern needs a specialist appointment, but knowing which ones do is half the problem. I offer first-line assessment across three areas that commonly send people searching for a specialist before they've had a proper look at what's going on. Gynaecology. Menstrual problems, pelvic pain, recurrent infections, contraception advice and menopausal symptoms. Where an examination, scan or specialist opinion is needed, I'll arrange it rather than leaving you to find your own way there. Paediatrics. Common childhood illnesses, rashes, feeding and growth concerns, and the day-to-day questions that come with young children. Some things I'll want examined in person, and I'll always say so clearly — but a lot can be assessed and resolved without leaving home. Dermatology. Acne, eczema, psoriasis, fungal infections and rashes. Skin is one of the areas telemedicine handles well: clear photographs sent ahead of the consultation often show more than a brief look across a desk. Where a lesion is concerning or a biopsy is needed, I'll refer you promptly. Across all three, part of my job is knowing where primary care ends. If you need a specialist, I'll tell you plainly and help arrange it.
